Dear Reader,
I’ve recently bought a bird feeder. After finding just the right spot, we added some bread crumbs and waited for the birds to come.
At first they seem a bit shy and scitterish. Flying away at any sign of movement. But as the days go by, they got used to us. Getting comfortable having us around, as long as we don’t come too close.
It is so amazing looking out the window in the morning, seeing the little birds feasting on whatever we provide. Mommies feeding their little ones. Seeing how the finches darker feathers give way to a fiery red!
When I look at these birds, without a care in the world, it reminds me of Jesus’s words: “Look at the birds…..”
We are often so consumed with fear and worry. Let us daily take some time out to sit and watch the little birds. Maybe even snap a photo or two!
And remember that we are worth more than the birds. And just like them, our Heavenly Father also look after us!
